Mass Cadets Travel to Gettysburg for Leadership Development

This last weekend, members from around the Massachusetts Wing took part in the annual Gettysburg leadership staff ride. Cadets and adult members led discussions at different stops around the battlefield, exploring themes of trust, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making.

Lessons looked at how to handle volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity in decision-making. Cadets visited various points on the battlefield, equating the lessons learned from historic military campaigns to present day CAP activities and world events. Lessons that they’ll take with them into future CAP experiences.
